A trial has been scheduled in Batumi City Court relating to the administrative offense of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of the Batumelebi and Netgazeti.
The hearing will be held today at 12:00.
As the court told InterpressNews, the case will be considered by Judge Mariana Fomaeva. The respondent party is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
It is noteworthy that, as it became known at the previous court hearing, the consideration of Mzia Amaglobeli’s case was to continue on May 8.
Grigol Beselia, the former head of the Adjara Police Department, was questioned at the hearing held on April 28. Irakli Dgebuadze, the head of the Batumi Police, was to be questioned at the same hearing, but the hearing was postponed. Both Beselia and Dgebuadze are witnesses of the prosecutor’s office. Both of them were supposed to be questioned during the April 28 trial, however, due to the fact that Beselia's questioning lasted for a long time, the defense requested a postponement of the trial.
