Today, decisions about Georgia and the Georgian people are made only in Georgia, and at the same time, we are the first in Europe in terms of the pace of economic development, - the leader of the parliamentary majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze, said at the congress of the Georgian Dream.

He also introduced the party’s political council’s decision to the congress participants and nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the position of chairman of the Georgian Dream.

The Georgian Dream, of course, together with the Georgian people, has achieved such a degree of independence for the country that we can proudly say: today, decisions about Georgia and the Georgian people are made only in Georgia, and at the same time, we are the first in Europe in terms of the pace of economic development.

Once again, I wish success to our team, united as one family, to our country and the Georgian people on this principled path of fighting for their homeland and its development,” said Mdinaradze.

The congress of the Georgian Dream elected Irakli Kobakhidze as the party chairman.
