Personnel changes have been made in the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia. According to the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, Giorgi Gvarakidze has been appointed as Tbilisi Prosecutor, and Zurab Beltadze has been appointed as Deputy Prosecutor General.
“Zurab Beltadze has been appointed as Deputy Prosecutor General, who has nine years of experience working in various positions in the Prosecutor’s Office, as well as many years of experience in the field of law.
Also, Giorgi Gvarakidze has been appointed as Tbilisi Prosecutor. He held the position of Deputy Head of the Special Cases Investigation Department of the Special Investigation Service. Giorgi Gvarakidze has held various positions in the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia for years.
As for Tbilisi Prosecutor Levan Gegechkori, he was appointed Head of the Department for Supervision of Investigation Procedural Management and Operative-Investigative Activities in the State Security Service, the Special State Protection Service, the Intelligence Service, the State Sub-departmental Institution of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs - the Georgian Border Police, while the Head of the aforementioned department Malkhaz Kapanadze was appointed as the Head of the Investigation Procedural Management Department at the Special Investigation Service.
Prosecutor General of Georgia Giorgi Gabitashvili discussed the priority areas of the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia with his new deputy, the new Tbilisi Prosecutor, and the heads of the department," reads the information.
