Joe Wilson: The arrogance of making demands of President Trump is an outrage

"It is an outrage to arrogantly make demands of President Trump," — this is how U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson (Republican Party), Co-Chair of the U.S. Helsinki Commission, responded to the letter from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze addressed to the President and Vice President of the United States.

Wilson stated:

"Since the illegal takeover of the Georgian state in October—against the will of freedom-loving Georgians—the criminal Ivanishvili group has:

Spread daily anti-American propaganda;

Accused President Trump of corruption;

Expelled American companies in favor of the Chinese Communist Party;

Deepened ties with the terrorist regime in Iran;

Banned the opposition;

Beaten and imprisoned innocent people."

"It is an outrage to arrogantly make demands of President Trump," Wilson concluded.
