Levan Khabeishvili on Gomelauri’s resignation: Ivanishvili has thrown away yet another toy — our goal must be to overthrow Ivanishvili along with all his toys

Ivanishvili has thrown away another person/toy, as he cannot tolerate ‘used goods.’ Following Liluashvili, now it’s Gomelauri’s time. He has nowhere to go — neither to Europe, as he is on the Magnitsky list, nor to the U.S., where he is listed among terrorists and killers. Ivanishvili doesn’t care and threw him away like a ‘worn-out rag.’

This fate awaits everyone — the collective Siradzes, Kharaberts; Ivanishvili cannot stand used toys and now wants to fill the de facto government with new toys.

The new minister [Gela Geladze] was appointed through Mdinaredze’s lobbying — he ensured that if he wasn’t appointed himself, at least someone under his lobbying got the position. But this is just playing with toys, and we must understand that the main goal is to overthrow Ivanishvili along with his toys,” Khabeishvili said.

For context, Vachtang Gomelauri announced his resignation as Minister of Internal Affairs this morning, citing the peaceful situation in the country as his reason for stepping down.

On the same day, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced Gela Geladze as the new Minister of Internal Affairs.
