Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of “Lelo – for a Strong Georgia,” expresses readiness for dialogue with opposition forces.
Specifically, Khazaradze's comment came in response to a proposal by Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change,” regarding a live televised discussion on the upcoming local elections.
Khazaradze states that the conversation should take place on the platform of Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, with the participation of all four coalitions that passed the electoral threshold.
“I am ready for a meeting and dialogue, as always. This conversation should take place on the President’s platform, with the participation of all four coalitions that crossed the threshold,” Khazaradze wrote under Elene Khoshtaria’s Facebook post.
As a reminder, Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change,” stated on social media that she is ready to publicly explain, in a live discussion, why participating in the local elections undermines the fight against the “Russian regime.”
“Since the discussion is open, with great respect and in the spirit of partnership, I propose that we sit down and debate live — wherever and whenever you prefer,” Khoshtaria wrote on Facebook.
