We should all choose a political strategy that not only spares our own health but also harms Ivanishvili, said Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of “Lelo – Strong Georgia,” in response to Elene Khoshtaria’s statement that she would end her hunger strike if the opposition agreed not to participate in the elections.
As Kupradze noted, he expresses solidarity with Elene Khoshtaria.
“She is a very important political figure for us personally, among others, but I think we should all choose a political strategy that not only protects our own health but also harms Ivanishvili,” said Kupradze.
For reference, politicians Elene Khoshtaria and Gedevan Popkhadze began a hunger strike in front of the Georgian Parliament as a sign of protest. Their hunger strike was joined by civil activists Vasil Eliava, Giorgi Stepanova, and Bacho Kutsia.
