Kaja Kallas: All options are on the table regarding Georgia, including the suspension of the visa-free regime

“All options are on the table regarding Georgia, including the suspension of the visa-free regime and other elements that could potentially force the Georgian government to reconsider its calculations,” – said the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, speaking to journalists in Brussels ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.

“We will discuss the issue of Georgia. We are witnessing serious backsliding in Georgia. We are considering what more can be done. All options are on the table, including the suspension of the visa-free regime and other elements that could potentially compel the Georgian government to revise its calculations,” Kallas stated.
