Georgian Dream has officially nominated Kakha Kaladze as its candidate for Tbilisi Mayor. Kakha Kaladze was introduced by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. The event is taking place in Mtatsminda Park.

"Today, we could have nominated just a good politician, just a good ruler or just a good patriot as the candidate for Tbilisi mayor, but today we are presenting a true champion as the candidate for Tbilisi mayor - a champion in the direct and indirect sense of the word," said Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to Kobakhidze, the ruling party's candidate is a person who has given Georgia victories of the highest order.

According to him, Kakha Kaladze can further develop, improve and beautify every corner of Tbilisi, which is what every Tbilisi resident needs.

Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili is also attending the event.

It is worth noting that Kakha Kaladze is running for the third time in the Tbilisi mayoral elections.
