According to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Bidzina Ivanishvili liberated Georgia from the most severe authoritarianism managed from outside in 2012.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, during his speech at the event opening the Georgian Dream election campaign and presenting the candidate for Tbilisi mayor, while talking about the founder and honorary chairman of the party, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to him, Georgia has enjoyed 13 years of uninterrupted peace and the country's successes are due to Bidzina Ivanishvili.

"Once again, I would like to salute Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, who in 2012 freed Georgia from the most severe authoritarianism managed from outside and put our country on the right path of development. Since 2012, Georgia has had 13 years of uninterrupted peace, our country is independent and sovereign as never before, and for the fifth year in a row, Georgia has been in first place in Europe in terms of economic growth. All of this is the merit of Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, to whom, together with you, I would like to express my deepest gratitude once again," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
