Since I have been at the center of Ukrainian politics for years and am a proud citizen of Ukraine, by hysterical attacks on me, the Russians are also sending a signal to the struggling Ukrainian leader about what fate awaits him if he does not surrender to the occupier.

In 2008, many urged me to leave Georgia and emigrate under threat of death. I did not change my mind, I mobilized the Georgian and international community, and together with our army, we saved Georgian statehood.

We are still standing firm, nothing can break us, we will not allow the enemy to take our country away from us, as evidenced by the active resistance of Georgians. Especially in recent years and months, many people have been captured, tortured, and still have not been broken, so we must bring this struggle to victory in the near future. With decisive, courageous steps, unity, and a solid plan, we must save our homeland from the hands of the occupier and its aggressors and save the future of our children.
