We will have a discussion on Georgia. We want to make it possible to respect the aspirations of the Georgian people to move forward on their path towards Europe, - the French Foreign Minister told journalists before the meeting of EU foreign ministers.

"It is in this spirit that we are discussing, we are addressing the Georgian authorities," - the Foreign Minister noted.

The issue of Georgia will be discussed among other issues at today's meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which is being held in Luxembourg.
