Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze granted bail of one million GEL each

Tbilisi City Court, in the so-called sabotage case, fully granted the prosecutor's motion against the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, and used bail in the amount of one million GEL for each as a preventive measure. The deadline for paying the bail has been set at 30 days.

As for the remaining defendants, the pre-trial hearing for the opposition politicians has been set for December 25, 1:00 PM.

Judge Pikria Sikturashvili made the decision.

For information, the Prosecutor General's Office has initiated new criminal proceedings against Mikheil Saakashvili, Giorgi Vashadze, Nika Gvaramia, Nika Melia, Zurab Japaridze, Elene Khoshtaria, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the case concerns crimes committed against the state, namely: sabotage, assistance in hostile activities to a foreign country, financing activities directed against the constitutional order of Georgia and the foundations of national security, and calling for the violent change of the constitutional order of Georgia or the overthrow of the state government.
