For more than three years, Mikheil Saakashvili was in a hospital instead of a penitentiary - it remains to be seen how much his hospital stay cost? We wonder how much this amount is and then we should ask bureaucrats in Brussels to reimburse the Georgian people for these expenses, because it is interesting what their hysteria and false narratives cost the Georgian people, - the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, told journalists, responding to the transfer of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, to a penitentiary.

According to Papuashvili, the reason for Saakashvili's stay in the hospital was "the hysteria that Brussels and its ambassador created based on a false narrative."

“The ambassador, along with other ambassadors, went to the Ministry of Justice with a demarche and demanded Saakashvili’s removal from the country, in fact, his release. These are the false conclusions of the NGOs, the then Public Defender, as if he had dementia. Do you remember President Zelensky and Sandu, who lied about Mikheil Saakashvili, as if he was being tortured. Sandu and Zelensky, who are the praised leaders of European integration, came out and lied, and after that they did not apologize, either Sandu, Zelensky, or Herczyński, who went to the Minister of Justice with a demarche. A few weeks after this demarche, the Strasbourg Court said that Mikheil Saakashvili did not need anything that would require his transfer elsewhere.
