Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan is in Georgia

President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, has arrived in Georgia on an official visit.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the President was welcomed at Tbilisi International Airport by Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze, and Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Giorgi Sharvashidze.

“Maka Botchorishvili thanked Vahagn Khachaturyan for visiting Georgia and wished him a productive stay.

The Armenian President is being hosted in Georgia by President Mikheil Kavelashvili. During the visit, Vahagn Khachaturyan will meet with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili.

The President of Armenia will lay a wreath at the Memorial of Heroes Fallen for the Unity of Georgia. This is Vahagn Khachaturyan’s second official visit to Georgia,” the information reads.
