Irakli Kupradze: It is a shameful reality that the so-called government has turned into a promo team for a private project – Irakli Kobakhidze’s goal is to use the parliamentary tribune to spread lies about the “Eagle Hills” project

“The so-called government has turned into a promo team for one private Arab project, which they are advertising — and what’s worse, the country’s so-called top official, the so-called Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, is involved in this,” stated Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of Lelo – Strong Georgia, in response to the upcoming interpellation hearing scheduled for November 26 in Parliament, during which one of the issues to be discussed will be the Eagle Hills project.

According to him, through the interpellation procedure, Georgian Dream will try to spread propaganda and lies.

Ivanishvili and his team have only one goal — to use the interpellation process to once again justify themselves and use the parliamentary tribune to repeat the same propaganda and lies over and over again.”

“It is a shameful and unfortunate reality that the so-called government has turned into a promo team of one private Arab project, which they advertise, and at the same time the so-called top figure of the country — the so-called Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze — is involved in all this. All of this puts a stamp on the fact that there is no functioning government in the country.”

“The goal of this illegitimate government is to pursue corrupt and criminal interests that serve only their private benefit,” said Irakli Kupradze.

For reference, on November 26 Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will be questioned in Parliament under the interpellation procedure. According to the Majority Leader Irakli Kirtskhalia, the interpellation will cover two topics: issues related to the education reform prepared by Georgian Dream and matters related to the Eagle Hills project.
