Salome Zurabishvili - Kobakhidze not only stands next to Putin, but also does not leave the hall when he makes a speech - this is the red line, beyond which Georgia becomes a slave to Russia, we must take to Rustaveli today!

The so-called Prime Minister of Georgia stood next to Putin – this is the red line, beyond which Georgia becomes a slave to Russia, - the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, stated.

As she said during a Facebook Live, the current situation is “deplorable” and called on the public to immediately take to Rustaveli Street for a protest rally.

She also emphasized the topic of neutrality, saying that this idea is “part of Russia’s long-term strategic goal,” while Georgia is still on the path of unattainable European integration.

“I would like to respond to today’s events and the horrific picture that we saw on the screens – the so-called Prime Minister of this country, who has arrived in Turkmenistan, is attending an international conference, the main topic of which is neutrality, by standing next to Putin. Not only is he standing next to him, but when Putin makes a speech, Kobakhidze does not stand up and does not leave the hall, which is a common form of protest. This is a sure sign of where this regime is going and where it has come to. Neutrality is the dream not of Georgia, but of Russia, to establish neutrality in Ukraine, Georgia and all those countries that were part of the USSR. This is Russia’s dream of the century, which is being fulfilled by the Ivanishvili-Kobakhidze Russian regime.

We cannot face this silently, without reaction. Because this is the red line beyond which Georgia becomes a slave to Russia and leaves the path of European integration and joins Russia’s path – the path of enslavement, which we have passed and from which we have come out.

All the laws that have been adopted in an accelerated manner over the past year serve the Russian plan to move Georgia to the Russian model, to make Georgia fulfill Russian dreams. One of the Russian dreams was that Georgia would not be an educated country. We can see Russian instructions in all the laws. This is the current deplorable situation, which is why we, and only we, can come out on Rustaveli today and say once again that Georgia will not be Russia!", - said Salome Zurabishvili.
