Zurab Japaridze: we will meet Giorgi Vashadze and talk to him; I don’t think his energy has faded anywhere; as for debates, I am ready, but I doubt Kobakhidze will be allowed to do that - it depends on Ivanishvili

We will meet Giorgi Vashadze and talk to him. I don’t think his energy has faded anywhere. We’ll see - when he comes out, we’ll talk to him,” said one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change,” Zura “Girchi” Japaridze, to journalists near Rustavi Prison, where politicians and family members are waiting for the release of the leader of “Strategy Aghmashenebeli,” Giorgi Vashadze, from prison.

Japaridze also commented on Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s statement regarding debates.

“For several years I have been telling all propaganda channels that I would come, sit live on air, and I am ready to talk about any topic. I have this readiness now as well, if Kobakhidze has the readiness too, but I doubt they will allow him to do that. This does not depend on Kobakhidze - it depends on Ivanishvili. He will have to do what Ivanishvili tells him. Let him talk to me, and we’ll see whether normalization happens or not,” Zurab Japaridze said.
