Shalva Papuashvili on “Moscow Mechanism” - This is an example of how such organizations are used to intimidate people - as for the investigation into the use of chemical weapons, they should come, see and say: “We were wrong”

We always say that we are ready for dialogue, to answer any question on any issue, but in contrast, we see Brussels blocking any dialogue, - said the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, responding to the activation of the "Moscow Mechanism" by 24 countries.

According to Shalva Papuashvili, the goal of this initiative is to attack and intimidate the Georgian people.

"This is another example of how such organizations are used to attack, intimidate and subjugate the Georgian people, this is the main motivation for such initiatives. We always say that we are ready for dialogue, to answer any question on any issue, but in contrast, we see Brussels blocking any dialogue. They are in a deadlocked position. The unqualified policy towards Georgia is clearly visible, that they prefer threats and blackmail to dialogue and conversation. We have nothing, nothing to hide from anyone. There is no question to which we do not have an answer and there is no issue that we cannot discuss. The disgusting lie that the BBC published regarding Georgia, that the Georgian government allegedly used chemical weapons in the First World War. It turned out that this substance was not historically present on the territory of Georgia. Let the creation and use of chemical weapons be investigated in Britain. After this lie and the investigation conducted, the Prime Minister said that "there are investigation materials and we are ready to give relevant international institutions the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials,” but no one has applied to the Georgian government, why? - Because they should come, see and then there will be no confusion, they should say - “We were wrong,” - Papuashvili said.

According to him, the initiator of the “Moscow Mechanism” is Poland, whose Prime Minister Donald Tusk is “a friend and supporter of the creator of the torture system in Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.”

“Do you know who initiated this issue? Poland. This is the same Poland that helped a “James Bond” doctor sneak in Mikheil Saakashvili’s room, who was carrying Saakashvili’s biomaterial in his socks. We should have investigated what they did in Georgia in due time. The purpose of this special operation was to create a certain scenario, that some material was taken out and in the research conducted there, iron, titanium and camite were found in Saakashvili's body. This was done to us by the then Polish government. They are representatives of the Polish government, those who stand by the torturer Saakashvili. Today, the Prime Minister of Poland, Tusk, is the chairman of the People's Party, who put an empty chair with Mikheil Saakashvili's inscription at the conference, and Tusk's government is talking about human rights? When their friend is the creator of the torture system in Georgia? And Tusk's government is saying something about the current government of Georgia regarding human rights? So, we will not receive any remarks regarding human rights from the brothers and friends of the creator of the torture system. This also confirms that this initiative is a political tool against Georgia, to constantly give radicals food and topics to talk about," said Shalva Papuashvili.
