He assessed the debates held yesterday on Rustavi 2, where representatives of both the government and the opposition and non-governmental organizations took part. According to Gegelia, it is a farce when we "see Shalva Papuashvili and Sozar Subari as each other's opponents".

We are talking about the possibility of China's economic dominance increasing. In fact, China is not very interested in the Dream. This was demonstrated in a very simple example, when almost all partner governments were invited. The Dream was not even invited there, they were not even invited to the panel. The Dream is not interesting for China even as a slave. How should they be interested in investment? Their villages are larger than our economic market. How should they be interested when you are Irakli Kobakhidze? Of course, the topic is the corridor. Have we seen any investors who were actually brought in? Except for the notorious 6 billion, with which 6 billion will not be invested. We have many other examples when such an agreement was made in the world and was limited to only 150-200 million dollars. This is a geopolitical tragedy”, said Gegelia.
