In order to restore democracy in Georgia, the opposition forces must offer the population a political choice, MEP Nacho Sánchez Amor said during the discussion of the report on Georgia in the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

Nacho Sánchez Amor thanked MEP Rasa Juknevičienė for presenting the report.

“I would like to add a call to the opposition forces in Georgia. They must make a common offer. I am not talking about electoral alliances. They must try to offer the population a political choice in order to restore democracy in the country. This is one of the tasks where we have an obligation to help, so that the parties can reach an agreement,” said the MEP.
