Kaja Kallas on legislative amendments - The adoption of these laws shows that the Georgian Dream government is not going in the right direction

The adoption of these laws is extremely regrettable, - the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, told Euroscope when answering a question about the approval of the package of legislative amendments that envisages tightening the law on grants and political activity by the Georgian Parliament yesterday.

"The adoption of these laws is extremely regrettable and shows that the Georgian Dream government is not moving in the right direction in terms of EU accession," - Kallas noted.

Yesterday the Georgian Parliament supported the tightening of the law on grants and political activity in the third reading - the approved amendments, among other things, prohibit the non-recognition of the legitimacy of the government.
