Georgian Foreign Ministry condemns drone attack in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia condemns the drone attack in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which resulted in the injury of several citizens.

According to the statement released by the Foreign Ministry “any action that grossly violates the principles and norms of international law and is aimed at escalating the situation in the region is unacceptable.”

“Considering the strong friendship and strategic partnership between Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia expresses solidarity with fraternal Azerbaijan in this difficult situation,” reads the statement.
