The United National Movement is actively working with European partners to ensure that visa-free travel is not suspended for the Georgian people and that the achievements that belong to His Majesty the Georgian nation are not lost - it is a dirty lie that Europe is using this for blackmail. On the contrary, the Georgian Dream is blackmailing Europe, including by making the Georgian people live in authoritarianism and taking dictatorial steps, the results of which they are reaping, - said Levan Sanikidze, one of the leaders of the United National Movement.

According to Sanikidze, the aforementioned sanction is an adequate step on the part of the European Union.

"We are actively working with our European partners to ensure that this decision does not apply to Georgian citizens because the Georgian people deserve visa-free travel to Europe. This is our common achievement. As for the sanctions imposed on specific representatives of the Georgian Dream regime, it is a very understandable, adequate step on the part of the European Union, for a simple reason: the rules by which the Georgian Dream plays in Georgia and how it treats the Georgian people are absolutely unacceptable for the EU states and their leaders," said Levan Sanikidze.
