Grigol Gegelia, one of the leaders of the Lelo – Strong Georgia party, says that the meeting with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation was fruitful.

According to him, the main political issues in the country were discussed at the meeting.

According to the opposition leader, the parties agree that the current situation should not continue in its current form.

According to him, it is necessary to take steps to help the country emerge from the severe political, economic and social crisis.

“We had a very fruitful meeting with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation. They had questions regarding all the main issues that are relevant now. We discussed all the main issues, of course, the repressive legislation that is completely destroying even the semblance of freedom in the country and cementing dictatorship. We discussed the human rights situation, the severe political crisis that poses a threat to the interests of every Georgian, and we also talked about the economic risks of our country.

"We are of the same opinion that this cannot continue. Continuing this way means undermining the interests of Georgia, damaging the interests of the Georgian people. Everything must be done to get out of the difficult political, economic and social impasse," Gegelia said.
