“National Movement”: We distance ourselves from any attacks on partner parties and call on all party members and supporters to adhere to the agreement rules and direct all efforts toward strengthening the “Opposition Alliance”

We distance ourselves from any attacks on partner parties and call on all party members and supporters to adhere to the aforementioned agreement rules and direct all efforts toward strengthening the “Opposition Alliance” to end Ivanishvili’s dictatorial regime, — this is stated in the announcement disseminated by the “National Movement.”

As noted in the statement posted on the party’s Facebook page, the “United National Movement” remains faithful to the reached agreement, which excludes “any form of attack on partner entities.”

“On March 2, 2026, democratic political parties signed an agreement on the creation of the ‘Opposition Alliance,’ which defines our common vision, strategy, and goals in the fight against the Ivanishvili regime.

The agreement also sets out the principles of relations and conduct among the parties, obliging the signatory parties to refrain from any public statements that serve to delegitimize another member party of the alliance, accuse it of deals with the regime or Georgia’s external enemies, slander one another, or engage in any form of attack or discreditation.

We want to state clearly: the ‘United National Movement’ remains faithful to the reached agreement, which excludes any form of attack on partner entities.

We distance ourselves from any attacks on partner parties and call on all party members and supporters to adhere to the aforementioned agreement rules and direct all efforts toward strengthening the ‘Opposition Alliance’ to end Ivanishvili’s dictatorial regime,” — the statement reads.
