Irakli Kobakhidze: The "Moscow Mechanism" report is saturated with lies - from beginning to end it is a process dictated by narrow political interests, initiated when they could not find a more undemocratic country than Georgia on the scale of the OSCE

The report prepared on Georgia under the OSCE's "Moscow Mechanism" is saturated with lies—this was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to journalists.

As the head of government noted, there was a conflict of interest; in reality, the process was initiated, including by the Polish state, and it turned out that the expert himself was a former representative of the Polish government.

"This was a direct conflict of interest. The fact that this specific person hid the conflict of interest deepens suspicions. Everyone knows that the conclusion that was later published was written in advance. In the end, we all see that this conclusion is saturated with lies from beginning to end, about which we will present more extensive information to the public. First of all, we expose all the lies reflected in this conclusion; I also want to note that the conclusion contains specific information and recommendations that correspond to reality and whose consideration is necessary. There are such entries in this conclusion as well. We will present detailed information on this to the public. We will probably dedicate a special briefing to this issue, given that it is important for society to have information on this matter. There are issues on which we need to focus attention, but overall, this conclusion is saturated with lies.

The foundation, the motivation behind these processes is entirely political. You know which countries were at the forefront of initiating this process, and how these processes continued afterward. From beginning to end, it is a process dictated by narrow political interests that they initiated. They could not find a more undemocratic country than Georgia on the scale of the OSCE," stated Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to him, Georgia is among the leading OSCE countries in terms of democratic development.

"The double standard is very evident and shameful. All this once again shows the extremely grave processes developing in European bureaucracy," noted the Prime Minister.
