A protest is ongoing on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.

Participants in the march from the Philharmonic Concert Hall have joined the citizens gathered outside Parliament, chanting the slogan: "Freedom for prisoners of conscience - thank you for the fight."

Protesters have brought Georgian and United States flags to the site, along with banners demanding the release of those detained during the demonstrations.

The citizens' demands remain unchanged: release those detained during the protests and schedule new parliamentary elections.
