Mikheil Kavelashvili on the "Moscow Mechanism" report: It seems like the expert came, examined the reality here, talked to everyone, but it looks more like something pre-written than an act compiled after these responses

To start with the first resolution, the shameful resolutions they adopted - regarding Saakashvili, as if we are torturing him. The number doesn't change; it's always just about 10 people who constantly speculate on this topic; it's one force - the fifth column here and these people are the same composition. This mechanism is also one of the component parts - this was stated by Mikheil Kavelashvili in the program "Imedi's Sunday" while discussing the OSCE's "Moscow Mechanism" report.

As he noted, the "Moscow Mechanism" report looks more like something pre-written than an act compiled after the responses.

"It seems like the expert came down, examined the reality here, talked to everyone, but [the report] looks more like something pre-written than an act compiled after these responses. Our representative to the OSCE, Mr. Maisuradze, gave a very good answer - very well and professionally formulated how inconsistent it was with the OSCE's own rules. But my demand to our government is, despite the fact that, as I mentioned, our ambassador explained it very well, it will still be necessary for every citizen to be fully informed - what this act serves, who composes this act, and what it is connected to," Mikheil Kavelashvili stated.

According to him, certain forces are using various mechanisms to damage the country.

"Camite", the resolution, this act - they are all interconnected, and naturally, those directly connected to it are the fifth column, who should speak about all this. You can also add that this was the same campaign claiming that terrorists are being trained here - the same group of people; everyone in the fifth column has their own function, and this process has been launched. Unfortunately, this common force also has its [ally] in the United States - in Congress, Joe Wilson, who constantly positions himself on these issues. You remember, they started with Russia, moved to China, and now to Iran, and these people echo all this in unison. These people are interconnected; they develop these processes together," Mikheil Kavelashvili stated.

He also noted that the government should clearly explain to society what this act means and why it will have no power to harm us in any way.

"The world is changing, situations around us are changing. The action plan and path we have chosen for our state - this is the main thing. Here, the majority of our society should be motivated. Regarding the act, the government should clearly explain to our society what this act means and why it is insignificant for us, why it will have no power to harm us here in any way. This is carried out for external actors, just like the 'Camite' story, to show the whole world that supposedly the government is poisoning its own people. The messages are also arranged - who should say what; that is, this is one unified network. But in parallel mode, the country is developing, moving forward, protecting its interests. This process is more interesting for our society, and we will implement this step by step so that the information they are based on becomes irrelevant," Kavelashvili stated.
