Baiba Braže: We know what the Georgian people want and what they deserve, but their government is clearly not interested in the European path

“Nothing has changed in Georgia; the situation has not improved. We know what the Georgian people want and what they deserve, but their government is clearly not interested in the European path,” the Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže told journalists in Brussels.

In response to a question from Euractiv about what steps could be taken against Georgian Dream, which is hindering the country’s European path, Braže replied:

“We have full confidence that the Georgian people will make the right decisions and fulfill their commitments to Europe, so that the country can move forward.”
