According to the EU High Representative, Kaja Kallas, the EU foreign ministers will discuss the issue of Georgia in greater detail at their next meeting.

“Ministers also discussed the further deterioration of the democratic situation in Georgia, however we will discuss this in more detail at the next meeting,” said the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, after the meeting of EU foreign ministers.

At the same time, according to Kallas, at the request of Armenia, the EU will send a rapid response team to the country ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7.

“Based on the request of Armenia, the EU will send a hybrid rapid response team to help the country address potential threats ahead of the elections,” Kaja Kallas noted.
