Former Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili has been summoned for questioning by the State Security Service. Nanuashvili writes about the above on Facebook.

According to him, he was summoned to the agency “over the issue of communication with an expert from the OSCE “Moscow Mechanism.”

Yesterday evening, an investigator from the State Security Service called me, I have been summoned over the issue of communication with an expert from the OSCE “Moscow Mechanism”. According to them, Davit Katsarava mentioned it on TV. Are we human rights defenders forbidden from communicating with an OSCE expert? It seems they are worried about the “Moscow Mechanism,” Nanuashvili wrote.

As InterpressNews was told by the State Security Service, Nanuashvili is summoned to the agency for 3:00 p.m today.
