The Foreign Minister of Israel, Gideon Sa'ar, expressed his condolences over the passing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.
“Saddened to learn about the passing away of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia ILIA II: a great leader, friend of Israel and the Jewish people,” Gideon Sa'ar wrote in a social media post.
