APM Terminals Poti releases information about Peter Andreoli's visit

APM Terminals Poti Managing Director Christian Roeder and Commercial Director Iain Rawlinson hosted a delegation from the United States, the Port of Poti reports.

“The delegation included Peter Andreoli, a representative of the U.S. State Department's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, and Alan Purcell, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires to Georgia. The meeting discussed the current operations of the Poti Seaport, strategic cargo routes, and the company’s expansion plans, which are aimed at increasing the port’s throughput capacity and strengthening its role as one of the important logistics hubs in the Black Sea region.

Particular attention was paid to the Middle Corridor, its growing importance for trade between Asia and Europe, as well as Georgia’s growing role in ensuring transit flows. The meeting also emphasized the importance of international cooperation, which contributes to safe, efficient, and sustainable trade in the region,” reads the report.
