A protest march under the slogan “Freedom for Elene and prisoners of conscience” was held from the Philharmonic Hall toward the Parliament.

Today’s weekly march was dedicated to expressing solidarity with opposition politicians and individuals detained during protest rallies.

Participants carried banners demanding the release of prisoners. They also brought Georgian, European Union, and United States flags.

The march participants later joined other demonstrators at Parliament, where protests have been ongoing daily for more than a year.
