Today, April 3, at 12:00, a session of the Holy Synod will be held at the Patriarchate of Georgia, convened by the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal Throne, Metropolitan of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, Shio (Mujiri).
According to the Patriarchate’s Public Relations Service, the purpose of the session is to discuss organizational matters that are not specified in the Statute governing the Georgian Orthodox Church.
“These include additional details related to subsequent Synod sessions and an extended assembly, such as the venue of the assembly, the procedure for inviting delegates, and other necessary issues,” the statement reads.
