Salome Samadashvili - The deportation of the Azerbaijani journalist was no coincidence, this episode also shows how Ivanishvili destroyed the state - Georgia is the weakest link in the region

The deportation of the Azerbaijani journalist was not an ordinary coincidence; certain preconditions were set for Aliyev's visit, - Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of Lelo - Strong Georgia, said on PalitraNews.

According to Samadashvili, Georgia is currently the weakest link in the region and, therefore, has to accept certain conditions and take into account the interests of others.

"Unfortunately, this is the first time in our reality that certain preconditions have been set for Aliyev's visit. In any case, I have a feeling that the deportation of the Azerbaijani journalist was not an ordinary coincidence in time, and this is noteworthy in the context that even in this very small episode it is visible how Ivanishvili destroyed the state as a concept because when you have to violate the obligations assumed by international conventions in order to cooperate with our neighboring state, and we have repeatedly seen that there were certain question marks about how strong these relations were.

This shows the only thing that you are in such a weakened state today as a state, you no longer have the strength to defend your own interests because the state institutions have collapsed, because you have been isolated internationally.

If we look at the region, today Georgia is the weakest link and, accordingly, has to accept conditions from everyone because when you are abandoned, orphaned and have no one left to support you as a result of Ivanishvili's policies, it is clear that you will have to take into account the interests of others and only then will your interests come," Samadashvili said.
