Once again, we can loudly declare: - Work instead of blackmail! As soon as the EU Council makes a decision, we are ready to hold negotiations with the EU, - Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said at the plenary session of the Parliament.

She also noted that for this, at least the EU bureaucracy needs to return to fulfilling its obligations under the Association Agreement and conducting the political dialogue with Georgia envisaged by the Association Agreement, which, according to her, the EU suspended in 2024.

“Otherwise, any concern expressed in any form about the European future of the Georgian people will not be sincere and will only serve the purpose of polarizing the Georgian people, which in no way can be perceived and assessed by us as a friendly spirit,” - said Maka Botchorishvili.

Botchorishvili is in Parliament on an interpellation basis. She is answering questions sent by the For Georgia faction.
