“Palitra Media” has turned 31. The first issue of the newspaper “Kviris Palitra” was published on April 18, 1995. Soon after, “Kviris Palitra” became a high-circulation and influential publication, a position it maintains to this day.
Objectivity, reliability, relevance, and diversity — these were the fundamental principles behind the newspaper’s success, values that “Palitra” has always upheld, continues to uphold, and will uphold in the future.
The initial success was followed by business expansion — in addition to “Kviris Palitra,” the company successfully launched various newspapers and magazines, and later developed online media.
Today, “Palitra” owns more than 20 online media outlets, which are undisputed leaders in their segments. The holding also owns radio and television stations.
“Palitra” has expanded its business into other areas as well. The holding includes the publishing house “Palitra L,” the bookstore chain “Biblusi,” the toy store chain “Pepela,” several printing houses, a paper recycling plant, St. George’s International School, and the Business and Technology University (BTU), among others. Most importantly, its growth and expansion are irreversible.
“Palitra Media” is also one of the major employers — currently, up to 3,000 people work within the holding, and this number continues to grow each year.
Objectivity and the drive for development — these are the core foundations of the 31-year success story known as “Palitra.”
