Afgan Sadigov - It is a pity that I was not able to stay in Georgia and continue the “fight against dictatorship” to the end

It is a pity that I was not able to stay in Georgia and continue the “fight against dictatorship” to the end, - Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Sadigov writes on social networks.

“All my heart, my thoughts and my soul remained in Georgia - with people in front of the parliament and in the fight alongside our friends.

I express my immense gratitude to the Georgian people, my comrades, my friends, and everyone who supported me.

Ivanishvili - a murderer, a corrupt high-ranking official, a slave of the Kremlin and Putin, and a traitor to his country - dealt a huge blow to the image of the Georgian state by expelling me, violating international law and the decision of the European Court. With this step, he sacrificed the present and future of the people for his personal interests.

The Georgian Security Service stated that “Afgan Sadigov’s stay in Georgia is a very serious threat to the Georgian state.”

It is a pity that I was not able to stay in Georgia and continue the “struggle against dictatorship” to the end. But I believe that the brave, fighting and freedom-loving Georgian people will remain determined and will forever remove the criminal group of the Georgian Dream and the leader of the bandits Bidzina Ivanishvili from the political arena. I will stand by the dear Georgian people and my comrades until the end!

It is unclear what will happen after some time and what tragedies will befall us. Imprisonment, repression, and secret murders can happen to anyone at any time in the arena of political struggle.

Down with dictatorship!

Freedom to all political prisoners! - writes Sadigov.

As a reminder, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs administratively detained Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Sadigov on April 5. According to the MIA, he was detained for insulting a police officer on social media. On the same day, he was fined 2,000 GEL, expelled from Georgia, and banned from entering the country for 3 years.
