The National Center for Assessment and Examinations has started registration for exams for teachers and those wishing to become teachers.

According to the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, candidates can complete registration on the website — online.naec.ge — until May 6 at 18:00.

“It is mandatory for applicants to pay the exam fee (for at least one exam) between April 20 at 10:00 and May 4 at 18:00.

Starting from 2026, teachers and those wishing to become teachers have the right, instead of taking an exam in one subject, to register for and take up to three subject exams, as well as the senior special teacher exam and the basic professional skills exam.

Candidates should take into account that they will not be able to choose subjects whose test tasks/exam content are identical (including cases where the test tasks/exam content are translated into a foreign language).

The fee for one exam is 50 GEL, which can be paid via Bank of Georgia platforms, specifically through the online payment system (bogpay.ge), internet banking (ibank.ge), the mobile application (mBank), and self-service terminals.

Candidates who require special exam conditions must indicate this during registration and submit a health certificate (Form N IV-100a) to the National Center for Assessment and Examinations or the relevant educational resource center by May 6 at 18:00.

The National Center for Assessment and Examinations urges all interested individuals to carefully review the exam details and complete registration within the established deadlines,” the information states.
