We must help Georgia continue on the path that the majority of its population wants, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Álvarez told reporters ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers.

“This is the path towards the European family and, surprisingly, we will help the Georgian people continue on this path, in a democratic, peaceful, European way,” the minister said.

For information, today, EU foreign ministers will discuss, among other issues, the current situation in Georgia.
