War criminal Vladimir Putin is using Georgia’s Anaklia port, controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, said U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson, Co-Chair of the Helsinki Commission, during a hearing on Iran’s support for Russia.

“The Iranian regime is helping Russia evade sanctions and continue financing its deadly military machine. War criminal Putin is using Georgia’s Anaklia port, controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, to supply weapons to Iran, and is cooperating with Georgia’s illegitimate regime, which must be replaced through fair and free elections,” Wilson stated.

According to him, “Iran and Russia are particularly active in Georgia.”

“They support the anti-American ‘Georgian Dream’ regime, which is illegitimate. Cooperation between Georgian Dream and war criminal Putin is very clear, as it is with the Iranian regime. The Chinese Communist Party controls the Black Sea port of Anaklia in order to manage trade in rare metals with Central Asia. So this has much broader implications,” the congressman noted.
