Petre Tsiskarishvili - I don't think there is a split in the Opposition Alliance, there are many different opinions and arguments, is something amazing happening? Everyone likes each other a lot - we are not going to go anywhere

We are not going to go anywhere, everything will be fine, no one should worry, the Drem should not rejoice in vain, - Petre Tsiskarishvili, one of the leaders of the National Movement, said on PalitranNews while talking about the political process ongoing in the Opposition Alliance

According to Petre Tsiskarishvili, debate, criticism and political life should be healthy, people should be able to express their opinions and this will only strengthen the Opposition Alliance.

“When we reach unity, this alliance will have a much more solid foundation, now it is a cooperative format, which should be consolidated even more. The Alliance still has a lot of work ahead. I don’t think there is any confrontation, a split. You may call it a debate, or criticism. It’s life, we are people, we come together, there are many different opinions and debates take place, is there anything amazing happening? Everyone likes each other very much, if they didn’t like each other politically, they wouldn’t have created unity”, - said Petre Tsiskarishvili.

Petre Tsiskarishvili also responded to the opposition’s criticism of the Facebook posts of Georgia’s third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, and stated that “no one can censor” Mikheil Saakashvili.

Doesn’t he have the right to respond [to the political process] with Facebook posts? If he [needs] to criticize and express his opinion without any political attacks or accusations, should we censor him? I think that on the contrary, this will be good for [the alliance], we should use his experience and political weight to our advantage.

Mikheil Saakashvili speaks not only to his party and alliance, he speaks to the Georgian people and also writes his opinions about the history of Georgia, which he provides us with through text messages and social networks. No one can censor him. I don't see anything special here. Moreover, our alliance will be strengthened in this debate and criticism," said Petre Tsiskarishvili.
