Parliament supports initiative to create the post of State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies - Mamuka Mdinaradze will hold the position

The Parliament supported the initiative to create a position of State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies within the Government.

Amendments to the Law “On the Structure, Powers and Rules of Activity of the Government of Georgia” were discussed in an expedited manner and approved by 84 votes (10 against), in the third reading.

According to the adopted draft, a new position of State Minister will be created in the government structure, which will coordinate law enforcement agencies.

The powers of the State Minister are determined by a government resolution. His activities will be provided materially, technically and organizationally by the government administration.

Mamuka Mdinaradze will hold the position of State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies.
