Head of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, Tamar Memanishvili: The tests in the national exams will be of the same difficulty as in previous years – the minimum competency threshold has not changed
According to Tamar Memanishvili, Head of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, the Unified National Exams this year will feature tests of the same level of difficulty as in previous years.
As she told InterpressNews, the minimum competency threshold also remains unchanged.
“The process of the Unified National Exams is proceeding smoothly. It is quite active. As for the tests, they will be of the same level of difficulty. Every year, the tests are prepared in accordance with the national curriculum, and they are not linked to any reform—there is neither an increase nor a decrease in difficulty. In terms of difficulty, the tests remain the same. The minimum competency threshold has not changed either. Regarding the national exams, everything remains as it has always been, depending on the subject,” Memanishvili stated.
For reference, registration for the Unified National Exams began on April 6 and will end on May 11 at 18:00.
