The Prosecutor's Office, within the framework of the 2024 protests, has arrested 5 individuals, including 3 former and 1 current special forces officers, in connection with the violence committed against Zviad Maisashvili, Levan Khabeishvili, and Guram Rogava.

The corresponding statement was made by the Prosecutor General of Georgia, Giorgi Gvarakidze, at the briefing held at the office.

According to him, two of the five are already in custody as part of investigations ongoing into various criminal cases.
