Mariam Kvrivishvili meets with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Sonata Coulter, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Georgia and the United States of America.

“The importance of the resetting relationship between the two countries was emphasized. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the United States’ strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

During the meeting, the Minister provided the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State with detailed information on Georgia’s economic achievements and the investment opportunities the country has. Georgia’s investment potential in strategic sectors such as energy, transport, and logistics was noted.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening regional connectivity and Georgia’s role as a key player in the Middle Corridor.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of future relations.
