According to Salome Chelidze, Public Relations Manager of “Nikora Supermarket,” the list of products sold at the best prices in the chain’s supermarkets will be updated every Thursday.
As Chelidze told InterpressNews, in order for customers to easily distinguish the social basket promotion from standard discounts, products included in the campaign will be specially marked in stores with the sign: “Buy at the Best Price.”
She also noted that the weekly updated basket will обязательно include grocery items, dairy products, and meat products.
“The campaign started on May 7. We separated the products included in the consumer basket, and these products will be updated every Thursday. Accordingly, the categories and prices will also be updated tomorrow. The promotion launched on May 7 remains available through today, and starting tomorrow, customers will see new offers.
Our chain already had various pricing offers, but in order for customers to easily distinguish the social basket promotion from regular promotions, we highlighted them in our branches with the sign ‘Buy at the Best Price.’ We also publish banners on social media showing the products along with their old and new prices.
Both the composition of the products and the prices change weekly. The current promotion includes around 10-15 product items. These include eggs, chicken, butter, sugar, flour, vermicelli, pasta, grains, and other products that are most frequently purchased by customers in our chain.
Starting next week, for example, yogurt may be replaced by another dairy product, and we will continue rotating products within these categories. The product types, budgets, and brands will all be updated accordingly.
I cannot announce tomorrow’s products yet - they will be posted on social media in the morning. Tomorrow’s selection will again include grocery products, which will be standard in every basket. There will definitely be several dairy products and meat products as well. These are the main categories from which one or two products will always be represented in every promotion,” said Salome Chelidze.
