Family members of those detained during the protests will join the protest announced by the opposition for May 26.
They made a joint statement near the parliament about the above.
As they note, it is important to stand where the imprisoned people stood on May 26.
“The whole world knows that the regime’s prisoners are in illegal captivity for the protection of Georgia’s dignity and love for Georgia. Naturally, it is important for us to do what these most worthy people would do. On May 26, we join the national holiday. May 26 is Georgia’s Independence Day and it is very important to be where any boy or girl who is currently in illegal captivity would have stood,” said Nika Katsia.
